Welcome to exploring the possibilities of working together. I have 20+ years of hands-on, direct clinical practice and experience in psychotherapy, clinical psychology, education, evaluation and treatment. I’ve worked with over 1,000 clients and am still passionate about my work and the people that I encounter every single day. My goal in therapy is to help people develop empathy for themselves and their partners. I do that by providing a secure, accepting environment for you to explore your concerns in therapy.

As a relationship specialist, I emphasize establishing healthier, more satisfying relationships by working with you to find out what may be holding you back and then learn how to move forward in order to forge deeper emotional connections. Although it may feel like a struggle, many of my clients experience renewed hope and more depth in their relationships. I love being able to assist people in accomplishing more than they thought was possible in therapy when it comes to how they relate and connect to others.

Education My Doctorate in Clinical Psychology was earned at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. In addition, I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (CA MFC 43813) with extensive training from Cedar-Sinai Medical Center for Psychiatry and the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Psychology Department. I have authored many articles on happiness, trauma, relationships, communication, couple’s counseling, unusual pressures and stressors of high-profile careers, sexuality, intimacy and complex life transitions. My methodology and specialization is in EFT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, for individuals and couples and have studied and am passionate about Jungian Depth Psychology that explores the psyche, personality formation and individuation process.

As a Professional Member of The American Psychological Association (APA), American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), and California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), I am committed to your therapy experience and process.

I believe you are important, you matter and I hope you say ‘yes’ to YOU!
